Yamkela leads all technology at Gonex — from the digital infrastructure that keeps the hub running to the design and delivery of technical training programmes. His background spanning education and technology means he can architect systems and teach them in the same breath, ensuring everything Gonex builds is both functional and genuinely accessible to the people it serves.

Asenath designs, manages, and continuously improves Gonex's programme portfolio. He is responsible for curriculum development, facilitator coordination, intake processes, and ensuring that every programme delivers on its promise to members. He also oversees stakeholder communications and community partnerships, making sure the hub's work is visible, trusted, and connected to the broader region.

Phumelelo leads youth recruitment, school partnerships, and community outreach with a kind of credibility that cannot be hired — he is a published author, spoken word poet, and qualified language practitioner who has spent years building genuine trust with Sterkspruit's schools, families, and young people through his own work. His national recognition for his contribution to Pan-African literature and his expertise in translation and interpreting mean Gonex can reach and communicate with communities in the language, register, and cadence that actually resonates. He does not bring the hub to the community — he is already of it.
